VALESOR kicks off its first physical meeting

Three months into the project some 20 VALESOR participants met at University of Angers at a first physical steering committee meeting.

In March 20-21, Valesor participants from all work packages met in Angers - and some remotely by video conference - to engage in work plans ahead and exchange ideas on ways forward.

Being a multidisciplinary project, continuous dialogue and discussions is key. VALESOR gathers epidemiologists, environmental economists, modelers and IT-developers - to just name a few - from seven countries and twelve different institutes, universities and organisations.

The meeting laid down the foundation for collaboration and provided valuable input and feedback on practical matters such as the data management plan, communication activities and methodology.

The next steering meeting will be held online in June.
